Hi there, and welcome to the website of the 11th Eastbourne Scout Group.
If you are a member or parent please check out the section links on the left for infomation on your child's section, if you are a visitor please feel free to browse, here you will find answers to the most popular questions asked about Scouting, as well as how people can join us, children or adults.
The 11th were 50 years old in 2006, and are still going strong, with all three sections operating at capacity; all of our young people take part in a wide range of activities, events, camps and other experiences, all carefully designed to bring out the potential in all of them.
We welcome members from all communities, faiths, cultures and backgrounds, boys AND girls, and will always do our best to accomodate those with special needs, please enquire if you are unsure.
Scouting is as relevant to our young people today as it ever has been, we are determined to help them explore their physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, in a fun, safe, supportive (and sometimes muddy !) environment.
Finally, our team of volunteers, many of whom have busy enough lives already, are the backbone of our group, as they give up some of their spare time to run the activities for our young members.
There are many ways in which adults can join us and help, just get in touch if you are interested.
Enjoy our site
